MINUTES OF THE CONTINUED MEETING OF THE
HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 1974, AT 4:OO P.M.

Council members Courtney, Schmidt,, Shaw and Mayor Van HallcenEurg servkd as the
Board of Review for the meeting continued from June 11, 1974. Mr. Ralph John-
son of the Assessing Department appeared to advise Council of the following
action: lr

The Assessor's office recommends reduction in the value of the property of Mr.
Kenneth Barklind,l 4720 Valley View Road from $49,900 to $44,200. Mr. John-
son said that Mr, Barklind has conccrred with this recommended adjustment.
The Asscissor's office. requests that more time be given for consideration of
the York Circle Apartments of Mr. Gene Rancone at 7300 York Ave. S. Mr. Ran-
.cone has indicated that he will appear at the next meeting of the Board of
Review and does not want the Board to take any action at this meeting.
Mr. Johnson recommended that the Terrance Korupp property at 6200 Creek
Valley Road be considered at the next Board of Review meeting which will be
held after Mr. Swanson returns.

llr. Johnson recommended that the market value of the Arnold Yeinberg property
at 6208 Crest Lane be reduced from the original valuation of $67,200 to
$62,500. He said that Mr. yeinberg had concurred with this recommendation.
Mr. Johnson advised Council that Mr. John B. Lagorio, 6701 Apache Road, had
allowed the Assessor to enter his home for inspection of improvements.

Council members Courtney, Schmidt, Shaw and Mayor Van Valkenburg served as the
Board of Review for the meeting continued from June 18, 1974.
Mr. Swanson said that Mr. Rancone had said that he had no additional remarks
to make to Council relative to the value placed on his Ycjzktown Circle Apart-
ments at 7300 Yorlc Avede, but that he had requested that Council consider his
viewpoints which were expressed at the meeting of June 11, 1974. Mr. Swanson
said that he had adjusted the value on the apartments from the original 1974
appraisal of $3,350,000 to a market value of $2,850,000 prior to Board consid-
eration and would recommend this figure.
Mr. Swanson said that he had made an adjustment on the property of Mr. and Mrs.
Terrence J. Korrupp at 6200 Greek Valley Road from the original valuation of
$56,300 to $48,800 and that this valuation was in conformance with the valuation
of the other school units which had been sold by the School Districts.

Councilman Courtney then moved that the findings of the Assessof be accepted
as follows:
