SPECIAL ELECTION HELD SEPTEMBER 4, 1975,
FOR PARK IMPROVEEIENTS AND LAND ACQUISITION
The meeting convened on Friday, September 5, 1975, at 5:OO p.m., at the Edina
City Hall.
Findings of the appointed Canvassing Board were inspected and compared with-the
returns of the Electicin Judges. It was then moved, seconded and carried unani-
mously that the returns of the Special Election on Park Improvements, Open Space
Acquisition and Parkland Acquisition, held in the City of Edina on September 4,
1975, be certified as follows:

SPECIAL ELECTION ON PARK IMPROVEMENTS,
PAXKLAND ACQUISITION AND OPEN SPACE ACQUISITION
QUESTION NO. 1 - Shall the City of Edina be authorized to borrow money by issu-
ing its general obligation bonds in the anount of $2,000,000 €or the Purpose of
'Improving, Developing and Equipping Parks, Playgrounds and Recreational Facil-
ities of the City?

QUESTION NO. 2 - Shall the City of Edina be authorized to borrow money by fssu-
ing ies general obligation bonds in the amount of $450,000 for the Purpose of
Acquiring Open Space Land within the City to be Preserved Substantially in its
Natural State for Recreational use?
QUESTION NO. 3 - Shall the City of Edina be authorized to borrow money by issu-
ing its general obligation bonds in the amount of $500,000 for the Purpose of
Acquiring Lands \&thin the City to be Developed for Local or Nieghborhood Park
or Playground Purposes? 4'
