Mr. David Griswold, 6417 Mendelssohn Lane, objected to his 1976 assessed value -
of $74,200 which had been increased from $73,880 in 1975, and said that the valu-
ation should be no higher than $60,000. Mr. Griswold contended that the base cal-
culations used by the Assessor were incorrect and reviewed records of a number
of houses in his area. The Assessor will review the property.
Mr. Robert J. Collins, 6329 Halifax Ave., objected to his 1976 value of $50,100
which had been increased from the 1975 assessed value of $47,000. He said that
he gets all foot traffic through his yard for pedestrisns who want to walk along
the Crosstown Highway and requested that a sidewalk be installed to eliminate
this nuisance. Mr. Collins said that he has no opinion as to what the market
value for his house should be.
