NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the "Council') of
the City of Edina, Hennepin County, State of Minnesota (the "City"), will
hold a public hearing on March 19, 2019, at approximately 7:00 P.M. at
the Edina City Council Chambers in City Hall, 4801 W 50th St, Edina,
Minnesota, relating to the Edina Housing and Redevelopment Authori-
ty's (the "HRA") proposed adoption of a Modification to the Redevelop-
ment Plan for Southeast Edina Redevelopment Project Area, establish-
ment of the 72nd and France Tax Increment Financing District (a special
housing TIF district) therein and adoption of a Tax Increment Financing
Plan for the TIF District (collectively, the "Plans"), pursuant to Minneso-
ta Statutes, 469.001 to 469.047 and Sections 469.174 to 469.1794, at
inclusive, as amended, and Minnesota Session Laws - 2014, Chapter
308, HF No. 3167, Article 6, Section 8, as amended by Minnesota Ses-
sion Laws - 2017; 1st Special Session, Chapter 1 - HF No. 1, Article 6,
Sections 11 and 16. Copies of the Plans are on file and available for
public inspection at the office of the HRA Executive Director at City Hall.
The property to be included in the 72nd and France TIF District is lo-
cated within the Southeast Edina Redevelopment Project Area and the
City. A map of the Southeast Edina Redevelopment Project Area and
the 72nd and France TIF District therein is set forth below. Subject to
certain limitations, tax increment from the 72nd and France TIF District
may be spent on eligible uses within the boundaries of the Southeast
Edina Redevelopment Project Area.
