FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fall/Winter Activity Registration Begins Aug. 20
Edina, Minn., Aug. 6, 2018 – Registration for classes and events outlined in the 2018-19 Fall/Winter
Activities Directory begins 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, for Edina residents. Registration for those who live outside
Edina begins 8 a.m. Aug. 27.
The Fall/Winter Activities Directory, a seasonal catalog of offerings by the Parks & Recreation Department, is
mailed to all Edina addresses and should arrive by Aug. 15. People already can view it online at
EdinaMN.gov/Parks.
The Activities Directory includes the class offerings at the Edina Art Center, Braemar Arena, Braemar Golf
Course and Golf Dome. With art, sports, family fun, classes for adults, adaptive recreation and special events,
Edina offers something for everyone.
Before registration begins, people should set up an account or update their existing one at
edinamn.maxgalaxy.net. Those with existing accounts should verify their password works.
Anyone who has trouble setting up their registration should call Edina Parks & Recreation at 952-826-0367
before Aug. 20.
Some classes fill up quickly when registration opens. To help obtain a spot in high-demand classes, it’s
recommended people select and pay for those classes one at a time. Placing a class in your cart doesn’t
reserve your space in it. You must complete the payment process to ensure enrollment.
Charges for classes will appear on bank or credit card statements as “Edina Store.”
For more information, see the Activities Directory, visit EdinaMN.gov/Parks or call 952-826-0367.
