RESOLUTION NO. 2019-47
ACCEPTING DONATIONS ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF EDINA
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 allows cities to accept grants and donations of real or
personal property for the benefit of its citizens;
WHEREAS, said donations must be accepted via a resolution of the Council adopted by a two
thirds majority of its members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Edina City Council accepts with sincere
appreciation the following listed grants and donations on behalf of its citizens.
Park & Recreation Department
Chris Friedmann
Hennepin County Board
Craft Homes, LLC
Police Department
Edina Community Foundation &
Edina Crime Prevention
$3,200 Memorial Bench at Williams Park
$60,700 Public Space Recycling Grant
$350 Tree Donation at Fred Richards Park
