HomeMy WebLinkAbout19840529_edina_board_of_reviewMINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE EDINA BOARD OF REVIEW HELD TUESDAY, MAY 29, 1984 AT 5:OO P.M., EDINA CITY HALL 59 Answering rollcall were Members Bredesen,'Richards, Schmidt, Turner and Mayor Courtney. The meeting was convened pursuant to published "Notice of Board of Review" in the Edina Sun and notices posted on City bulletin boards. Courtney stated that the Council Members act as the Edina Board of Review and would hear those persons who considered themselves aggrieved by their property valuation for assessment purposes. He advised that no decision would be made at this meeting, but that property owners would be notified of the Board's decision prior to the meeting of the Hennepin County Board of Review on July 9, 1984. Carl Hansen Assessor Ralph Johnson brought the Hedberg property to the attention of the Board and reminded them of the low valuations placed on the property due to previous Court decisions and the lack of zoning. The Board Members were advised that copies of the letters submitted and data on all properties presented would be delivered to them for their review. - No further business appearing, the Mayor announced that the meeting would be con- tinued for the purpose of the Board's decisions to Thursday, June 7, 1984, at 5 p.m.
