OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
EDINA CITY COUNCIL HELD AT CITY HALL
August 20, 1984
4:30 p.m.
Answering rollcall were Members Bredesen, Richards, Schmidt, Turner and Mayor
Courtney.
CAPITAL AND FACILITIES EENEWAL PROGRAM DISCUSSED. Mr. Rosland recalled that at
the special meeting of the Council on July 23, 1984, a proposed capital renewal
plan, covering a ten year period, had been presented to the Council. Following
that meeting regarding the "capital budget" a number of policy and program areas
were identified with a recommendation or alternative for those areas. They were
as follows: a) Capital Equipment Replacement, b) Level of Capital Expenditures,
c) Building Capital, d) Priority of Expenditures and e) Program AreaslCapital
Additions. Mr. Rosland then explained each recommendation or alternative for
the areas identified, responding to questions and comments from the Council
Members.
