HomeMy WebLinkAbout19850513_edina_board_of_reviewEIINUTES OF TE MEETING OF THE EDINA BOARD OF REVIEW HELD MONDAY, MAY 13, 1985 I50 AT 5:OO P.M., EDINA CITY HALL Answering rollcall were Members Kelly, Richards, Turner and Mayor Courtney. meeting was convened pursuant to published "Notice of Board of Review" in the Edina Sun-Current and notices posted on City bulletin boards. Assessor Ralph Johnson gave a brief film presentation explaining taxes, government and school district budgets and how market values are determined. Mayor Courtney stated that the Council Elembers act as the Edina Board of Review and would hear those persons who consideredthemselves aggrieved by their property valuation for assess- ment purposes or who were requesting homestead classification. He advised that no decision would be made at this meeting, but that property owners would be notified of the Board's decision prior to the meeting of the Hennepin County Board of Review The on July 8, 1985.
