OF THE WORK SESSION OF THE
EDINA CITY COUNCIL
HELD AT CITY HALL
JANUARY 5, 2011
5:00 P.M.
Mayor Hovland called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room of City Hall.
Answering rollcall were Members Bennett, Brindle, Sprague, Swenson and Mayor Hovland. Also
attending when persons were being interviewed for their respective board or commission were: Mike
Fischer, Planning Commission Chair, and Diane Plunkett Latham, Energy and Environment
Commission Chair. City Clerk Mangen was also in attendance.
Mayor Hovland stated the purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants for appointment to the
various City Council Advisory Boards, Committees and Commissions.
The following candidates for appointment were interviewed: Terry Alhstrom, Ron Anderson,
Katherine Bass, Kevin Bohrer, Sarah Zarrin, Scott Davidson, Todd Doroff, Daniel Gieseke, Alice
Hulbert, Marian Johnson, Keith Kostuch, Norman Owens, Adnan Qureshi, and Thomas Raeuchle.
There being no further business, Mayor Hovland adjourned the meeting at 7:45 p.m.
