CITY OF EDINA HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-09 ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTIONS 24-51 AND 24-53 OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING SMALL WIRELESS FACILITIY AESTHETIC STANDARDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 16, 2019, Ordinance No. 2019-09 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Edina, Min- nesota. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, due to the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. 2019-09, the fol- lowing summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication and approved by the City Council as authorized by state law. The ordinance repeals and replaces Sections 24-51 and 24-53 of the City Code establishing Wireless Aesthetic Standards that sets forth the minimum aesthetic and design standards that telecommu- nications providers must meet to place wireless facilities in the City's right-of-way, minimum distance requirements between poles, a re- quirement to collocate more than one facility per support where fea- sible, and general aesthetic design standards requiring all wireless fa- cilities to be concealed inside the support structure or below ground. A printed copy of the whole ordi- nance is available for inspection by any person during the City's regular office hours.
