ORDINANCE NO. 2019-19
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10
OF THE EDINA CITY CODE CONCERNING RENTAL LICENSING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDINA ORDAINS:
Section 1. Chapter 10 of the City Code is amended to read as follows:
10-722. — Definitions: Rental dwelling means any apartment building or dwelling unit let for
occupancy. Rental dwelling does not include hotels, motels, and hospitals. and homes for aged.
10-723. License Required: It is unlawful to operate a rental dwelling in the city without
first having obtained a license from the City Manager. Licenses are renewed on an annual
basis and are valid from May 1 to April 30.
Section 2. This ordinance is effective immediately following passage and publication.
