NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Edina,
Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on De-
cember 17, 2019, at approximately 7:00 P.M. at the Edina City Council
Chambers in City Hall, 4801 W 50th St, Edina, Minnesota, relating to the
Edina Housing and Redevelopment Authority's (the "HRA") proposed:
(1) adoption of a Modification to the Redevelopment Plan (the "Rede-
velopment Plan Modification") for the Southeast Edina Redevelopment
Project Area (the "Project Area"), (2) adoption of a Modification to the
Southdale 2 Tax Increment Financing Plan to designate additional prop-
erty to be acquired by the HRA (the "TIF Plan Modification"), (3) es-
tablishment of the Amundson Avenue Tax Increment Financing District
(a special housing tax increment financing district) within the Project
Area, and (4) adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "TIF Plan")
for the Amundson Avenue Tax Increment Financing District (the Rede-
velopment Plan Modification, TIF Plan Modification and TIF Plan are
collectively referred to herein as the "Plans"), pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047, Sections 469.174 to 469.1794,
and Minnesota Session Laws 2014, Chapter 308, Article 6, Section 8, at
inclusive, as amended. Copies of the Plans are on file and available for
public inspection at the office of the HRA Executive Director at City Hall.
The property to be included in the Amundson Avenue Tax Increment
Financing District is located within the Project Area and the City of Edi-
na. A map of the Project Area and the Southdale 2 and Amundson Ave-
nue Tax Increment Financing Districts therein is set forth below. Subject
to certain limitations, tax increment from the Southdale 2 and Amund-
son Avenue Tax Increment Financing Districts may be spent on eligible
uses within the boundaries of the Project Area.
