BIDS CLOSE FEBRUARY 18, 2020
SEALED BIDS will be received and opened in the Edina Public Works
and Parks Maintenance Facility, 7450 Metro Boulevard at 11:00 AM,
Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The Edina City Council will meet at 7:00
p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020 to consider said bids. The following
are approximate major quantities:
500,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank
1. Interior Wet Rehabilitation
(a) Complete removal and replacement of protective coating system.
2. Exterior Rehabilitation
(a) Complete removal and replacement of protective coating system.
(b) Full containment curtain
3. Remove and replace protective coating on piping in vault/pit.
4. Miscellaneous grinding, welding, and caulking.
5. New Sump Pump.
6. New tank roof vent
7. New overflow pipe screen and splash pad.
8. New City lettering/logos painted on exterior of tank.
9. Drill new drain holes in balcony floor surface
10. New insulation on vault/pit walls/ceiling/cover.
11. Repair concrete foundation mortar and grout.
12. New safety climb system to the all tower ladders
13. New pressure transmitter and controls
Bids shall be in a sealed envelope with a statement thereon showing
the work covered by the bid. Bids should be addressed to the Pub-
lic Works Director, City of Edina Public Works and Parks Maintenance
Facility, 7450 Metro Boulevard, Edina, Minnesota 55439, and may be
mailed or submitted personally to the Public Works Director. Bids re-
ceived by the Public Works Director, either through the mail or by per-
sonal submission, after the time set for receiving them may be returned
unopened.

No bids will be considered unless sealed and accompanied by bid
bond or certified check payable to the City of Edina in the amount of at
least five percent (5%) of all bids. The City Council reserves the right to
reject any or all bids or any portion thereof.
