FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fall/Winter Activity Registration Begins Aug. 19
Edina, Minn., July 31, 2019 – Registration for most park and recreation classes and events outlined in the 2019-2020 Fall/Winter Activities Directory begins 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19,
for Edina residents. Registration for those who live outside Edina begins 8 a.m. Aug. 26. Fall registration for Braemar Arena classes begins at noon Aug. 20 for Edina residents.
The Fall/Winter Activities Directory, a seasonal catalog of offerings by the Parks & Recreation Department, is mailed to most Edina addresses and should arrive by Aug. 14. People already
can view it online at EdinaMN.gov/Parks.
The Activities Directory includes the class offerings at the Edina Art Center, Braemar Arena, Braemar Golf Course and Golf Dome and Edina Senior Center. With art, sports, classes for
adults, adaptive recreation and special events, Edina offers something for all ages and abilities. Anyone with a financial hardship is encouraged to explore the Connect Card and Edina
Give and Go programs listed on Page 4 that help ensure access for everyone.
Before registration day, people should set up an account or update their existing one at edinamn.maxgalaxy.net. Those with existing accounts should verify their password works.
Anyone who has trouble setting up their registration should call Edina Parks & Recreation at 952-826-0367 before Aug. 19.
Some classes fill up quickly when registration opens. To help obtain a spot in high-demand classes, it’s recommended people select and pay for those classes one at a time. Placing a
class in your cart doesn’t reserve your space in it. You must complete the payment process to ensure enrollment.
Charges for classes will appear on bank or credit card statements as “Edina Store.”
