HomeMy WebLinkAboutFall Into the Arts 2019Contact: Kaylin Eidsness, Senior Communications Coordinator Phone 952-833-9537 • keidsness@EdinaMN.gov • EdinaMN.gov  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  Fall Into the Arts Festival Sept. 7-8 at Centennial Lakes Park  Edina, Minn., Aug. 16, 2019 – More than 250 artists, exhibitors and food vendors will line the walkways along the lake and upper terrace of Centennial Lakes Park Sept. 7 and 8 for the Fall Into the Arts Festival. Photography, jewelry, pottery sculpture, wearable arts, glass, fiber arts, wood and painting, from the dramatic to the whimsical, will be featured at the 16th-annual event, which draws more than 20,000 people each year. Bring your appetite for more than a dozen food vendors offering everything from barbecue to cookie dough. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. Admission is free. More than 6,000 spaces of free parking are available around the park, 7499 France Ave. S. Additional free parking is available to the north and south of the park. The Fall Into the Arts Festival is a benefit for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund, which contributes to many police programs and services, including the K-9 Unit, Motorcycle Unit, Police Explorers and Night to Unite. The Fund also offers reward money for information leading to arrests for serious crimes. The Festival also benefits Centennial Lakes Park and the Edina Art Center.
