Find Edina Parks by Location or Activity
Edina, Minn., Aug. 27, 2019 – Finding nearby Edina parks or a place to play basketball, skate or have a picnic is easier with the new online Park Finder.
The Park Finder allows users to click a map for their location or put in their address. They’ll see a list of nearby Edina parks and their distance.
Clicking any of the park names brings up that park’s profile, which includes its address, acreage, features such as restrooms or field rentals, and all the activities available there.
The profiles also include photos of amenities and a handy tab for quick directions.
Users also can search by activity or amenity from baseball fields to gazebos to tennis courts. Those looking for a trail can choose among bike, walking or multi-use trails.
The Park Finder also includes information about Edina’s special recreation facilities such as Braemar Golf Course and Edinborough Park, which houses an indoor playpark.
Park Finder is mobile friendly, so it works on tablets and cellphones.
