, RESOLUTION VACATING ALLEYS
NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY AND EAST -WEST ALLEY IN BLOCK TWO, BROOKSIDE
HEIGHTS ADDITION, LYING BETWEEN INTERLACHEN BOULEVARD AND WEST
51ST STREET AND BETWEEN WILLL14 AND HANKERSON AVENUES
WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of the land abutting on the North -
South Alley and the East-West Alley lying b. in BLOCK TWO, BROOKSIDE HEIGHTS
ADDITION between Interlachen Boulevard and West 51st Street and between
William and Hankerson Avenues, have petitioned for the vacation of said
alleys; and
WHEREAS, two weekst published notice and posted notice of a hearint to
be had on said petition on August 13, 1956, at 7:30 p.m., has been given and
made, and a hearing has been had thereon by the Village Council:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota that
"Those certain alleys running in a Northerly and Southerly direction
and in an Easterly and Westerly Direction and lying between Interlachen
Boulevard and West 51st Street and between William and Hankerson Avenues,
as platted in Block Two (2), Brookside Heights Addition, as the same is
recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hennepin County, Minnesota,
are hereby vacated; provided that said Village excepts from this vacation
proceedings and reserves unto itself and its assigns an easement for all
public utilitir purposes, including without limiting the general nature of
said reservation, an easement for electric, gas, sewer, water and telephone
equipment on, over and under the center ten feet in width of the alleys
hereby vacated."
