RESOLUTION VACATING ?.LLEY
We the undersigned, C.J.CHRISTOPHEIR, President and
BOnER HAWTHORUE, Village Clerk, of the Village of Edina, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, DO CERTIFY that at the regular meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Edina duly called and held at
the Villa;;e Hall in the Village of Edina, on the 10th day of March,
1947, the following resolution was duly adopted by the unanimous
vote of said Village Council, to -wit:
"WrAS, a majority of the owners of the land
abutting on the alley hereinafter described in
the Village of Edina, Hennepin Counter, Minnesota,
have petition for the vacation of said alley; and
one (1) week's published notice and posted
notice of a hearing to be had on said petition on
March 10, 1947, at 8:00 P.M., has been given and
made, and a hearing has been had thereon by the
Village Council;
1\10111, THER FO.'V, BE IT P'�OLVLD by the Village Council
of the Villa -e of Edina,= Hennepin County, Minnesota,
that -
That certain alley running in a northerly and
southerly direction and lying between the
easterly line of Lots One (1) to Five (5)
inclusive, Block Five (5) Mendelssohn and
the westerly line of Lots Six (6) to Ten (10)
inclusive, Block Five (5) TIendelssohn, is here-
by vacated; provided that said Village excepts
from this vac- _ition proceeding and reserves unto
itself and its assigns an easement for all public
utility purposes, including, without limiting
the general nature of said reservation, an
easement for electric, gas, sewer, water, and
telephone equipment on, over and under the cel�er
ten feet in width of the alley hereby vacated.,1
IN ;dITNESS 'rkIEUOF, we have caused this instrument to be
executed by the President and the Village Clerk, respectively, of
the Village of Edina, and have hereunto affixed the corporate seal
this 10th day of March, 1947.

On this 10th day of March, 1947 before me, a Notary Public
within and for said County, personally appeared C.i.CHRISTOPHER and
BO'.'IER HAWTHORN,, to me personally known, who, being each by me duly
sworn, they did say that they are respectively the President and the
Clerk of the Village named in the foregoing instrument, and that the
seal affixed. is the corporate seal of said Village, and that said
instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said Village by authority

acknowledged said instrument to be -the free act and deed of said
Village Council,
