RESOLUTION VACATING ALLEY
We, the undersigned, EARL C. SHARPE, President, and BOWER HAWTHORNE,
Village Clerk, of the Village of Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that at the regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Edina duly called and held at the Village Hall in the Village of Edina,on the
26th day of July, 1943, the following resolution was duly adopted by the unan-
imous vote of said Village Council,to..unit:
11wMFAS, a majority of the owners of the land abutting
on the alley hereinafter descrip.ed in the Village of Edina
Hennepin County, Minnesota, have petitioned for the va.aa-
tion of said alley; and
WHERw, one (1) weekts published notice and posted notice
of a hearing to be had on said petition on July 260 1943,
at 8:00 o'clock Pa,, has been given and made, and a hear"
ing has been had thereon by the Village Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
the ViUage of Edina. Hennep in County, Minnesota, that -
19 That certain alley running in a northerly and southerly
direction and lying between the easterly line of Lots Four
(4) and Five (5), Block two (2), Steven's First Addition
to Minneapolis, and the Westerly line of Lots Sit (6) and
Seven (7), Block Two (2), Stevents First Addition to Minne-
apolis, is hereby vacated.
2• That it is to the best interests of the public so to
vacate said alley.
IX WITNESS WHEREOF, we have caused this instrument to be executed
by the President and the Village Clerk, respectively, of the Village of Edina,
and have hereunto affixed the corporate seal this �LPday of July, 1943,

on this day of J u ly, 1943 before 3Ae, a Notary Public
within and for said County, personally appeared EARL C. SHARPE and B01,1ER
HAWTHORNE, to me personally known, who, being each by me duly sworn, they
did say that they are reppeotively the President and the Cleric of the
Village named in the foregoing instrument, and that the seal affixed is the
corporate seal of said Village, and that said instrument was signed and
sealed in behalf of said Village by authority of the Village Council, and
said EARL C. SHARPE and BOWER HANTHORNE acknowledged said instrument to be
the free act and deed of said Village Council.
