BARKER Mr. Ray Drake Village of Edina 4801 West 50th Street Edina, Minnesota Dear Ray: Sometime ago there was forwarded to me two deeds from Rauenhorst Development Corp. to the Village of Edina. One was for Tract W, RLS 1050 and the other was for Tracts T, U and V, RLS 1218. We were unable to record these deeds because Rauenhorst Development Corp. does not own all of the property described in the deeds. As to Tract W, it does not own the West 414.81 feet. It is owned by Control Data Corporation but there is a quit claim deed to the Village of Edina granting the use of that portion of Tract W for public street purposes. Therefore, it appears that it is not necessary for the Village to obtain a further deed for the West 414.81 feet and all it really needs is the balance of Tract W. As to Tracts T, U and V, Rauenhorst Development Corp. does not own the East 60 feet of Tracts T and U and the North 30 feet of Tract V. However, the Village of Edina is the owner of the East 60 feet of Tracts T and U and the North 30 feet of Tract V. I have, therefore, prepared new deeds from Rauenhorst Development Corp. to the Village of Edina conveying to the Village only what Rauenhorst Development Corp. owns, and apparently this is all that the Village now needs insofar as these tracts are concerned. Will you please obtain execution by Rauenhorst Development Corp. of the original and one copy of each of the enclosed deeds and return them to me for filing.
