a corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of the first
part, and'the Village of Edina, a municipal corporation organized under
the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of the second part;
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, in consider-
ation of One and No /100 Dollars ($1.00), to them in hand paid by the said
party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do
Grant, Bargain, Sell, Convey and Warrant to said party of the second part
an Easement in perpetuity for all utility and drainage purposes including,
but not being limited to, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water pipes, in-
eluding the right to enter for the purpose of constructing, maintaining,
altering, repairing and reconstructing said utility and drainage systems
in and over the following described property situate in the County of
Hennepin and State of Minnesota, to -wit:

of the following described property:
That part of the South Half of the Northeast Quarter', Section 6,
Township 116, Range 21, described as follows: Beginning at the northeast
corner of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter; thence South along
the Nest line thereof 744.6 feet to a point 634.6 feet North from the
Southeast corner of said South Half of the Northeast quarter; thence West
1327.2 feet to a point 619 feet North of a point on the South line of
said south Half of the Northeast Quarter distant 1327.52 feet West from
the Southeast dorner of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter; thence
continuing West along the extension of the last described line to the
center line of Gleason Road; thence Northwesterly along said center line
to the North line of said South Half of the Northeast Quarter; thence
East along-said North line to the point of beginning.

This instrument is exampt from state deed tax.
It is the intention and agreement -of the Parties hereto that
the party of the second part shall in the construction, or maintenance
of said utility and drainage systems replace any shrubs or sod removed
by any excavation in connection with such construction or maintenance
work, in as nearly as possible the same condition as ,before such excavation.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, The said first party has caused these presents
to be executed in its corporate name by its President and its
Cluk and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed the
day and year first above written..

Public, within and for said County, personally appeared W.F.Shaw
and Jean E. Strome , to me personally known, who, being each by me
duly sworn, did say that they are respectively the President and the
Clerk of the corporation named in the foregoing instrument
and that the seal affixed to said instrument is the corporate seal of said cor-
poration, and that said instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said cor-
poration by authority of its Board of Directors and said W. F. Shaw
and J an irw= acknowledged said instrument to be the free act
and deed of said corporation,
