described, for and in consideration of the sum of����

Morningside, a municipal corporation, in the County of Hennepin,
Minnesota, the perpetual right and easement to enter upon and to
construct, lay, maintain, clean, and use a drainage pipe of such
size as may be deemed necessary by said Village over and aero,

Dear Mr. Mazorol:
RE: LOT 8, RILEY'S SUBDIVISION OF LOTS 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 30 AND 31, GRIMES'
HOMESTEAD, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
You have asked that we comment on a storm sewer easement which exists over
and across the subject lot. Apparently, this easement was granted on July
27, 1937, and has been recorded as Document Number 1960663. This easement
encompasses all of the subject property. You have asked if the City would
vacate this easement upon rededication of a new easement by the owner of the
lot. If you can provide us with a new survey of the subject lot and we can
locate the storm sewer which presently exists on the property, I can see no
reason why the Edina City Council would not vacate the easement in question
upon receipt of a new easement which encompasses a smaller portion of the
lot.
Enclosed is a form to use when petitioning the City for such a vacation.
