CONVEYANCE OF FORFEITED LANDS
(Issued Pursuant to Chapter 386, Laws of 1935, as Amended)
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT
WHEREAS, by reason of the nonpayment of the taxes thereon for the year 1930
and the due operation of law, the real property hereinafter described has heretofore become the absolute
property of the State of Minnesota in trust as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, thereafter for value received the said real property was duly sold by the said state to
Village of Morningside
under and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 386, Laws of 1935, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the purchase price of the said real property has been paid in full and the said
Village of 1orningside
is entitled to an appropriate conveyance in fee from the State of Minnesota conveying the said real
property to it
excepting, however, and reserving to the said state, in trust for the taxing districts interested in said
Iand, all minerals and mineral rights as provided by Section 10, Chapter 386, Laws of 1935;
NOW, THEREFORE, the State of Minnesota under and by virtue of Chapter 386, Laws of 1935 as
amended, and in consideration of the premises, does hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the
said Village of 1,,orningside
its heirs and assigns, forever, the following described land lying and being in the County of
Hennepin and State of Minnesota, to -wit:
Lots twenty -three (23) and twenty -four (24). Block
one (1), Crocker & Crowell's First Addition
Village of 11orninaside
excepting, however, and reserving to the said state, in trust for the taxing districts interested in said
land, all minerals and mineral rights, as provided in Section 10, Chapter 386, Laws of 1935.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, Together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, unto the said
Village of Morningside
its heirs and assigns, Forever.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF the State of Minnesota has caused this conveyance to be executed in
its name by the Minnesota Tax Commission at, the Capitol in the City of St. Paul,. County of Ramsey,
and State of Minnesota, this 15th day of June
