Recently the writer and Mr. Joseph Gorra discussed with you the
section of land which intervenes between the present road and lot 1,
Block 1, Duggan's Homestead.
This particular intervening strip, as you will recall, is Lot 3,
Block 7, Brookview Heights Second Addition and was transferred to t
Village of Edina to be used for road purposes by quit claim deed da
July 23, 1954 and recorded by the Village in Deed Book 2005, Page 4
For all practical purposes that should have completed the matter.
However, a recent sale of the property located on Lot 1, Block 1,
Duggan's Homestead brought to light the fact that the Village. of Edi
had failed to formally accept this land designated as Lot 3, Block 7
Brookview Heights Second Addition. Since formal acceptance is nec-
essary, I have this day requested the Village Council to consider th
matter at their next meeting on April Sth and would appreciate it
greatly if you would recommend its acceptance based upon your knowle
of the situation.
I am also attaching a copy of this letter to my request to the V
Clerk to place this matter on the agenda for the next meeting.
