Re: G. Victor Lowrie Easement
Dear Bob:
Enclosed herewith are the two easements given by the Village
of Edina by G. Victor Lowrie and wife. The one dated October 3, 1972
is to be released; the one dated October 25, 1972 is the one to be retained.
Both documents, you will note, have been duly filed as Document No. 3978340
and 3979810 respectively.
There is also enclosed a Quit Claim Deed f,y,Y'tTage to the
Lowries releasing the Village's interest i ement dated October 3,
1972. This deed should be execut a Village and fowarded to the Lowries
for recording. However ay wish to have the Village place it of record
and then forwar the Lowries. If you wish the Village to record it,
please n it to me once signed.

THIS INSTRUMENT, MAde this � y of
and between G. Victor Lowrie and Muriel D. Lowrie
husband and wife of the County of Hennepin .
and State of Minnesota, parties of the first part, and the Village of
Edina., a municipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of
Minnesota, party of the second part;
WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, in consid-
eration of One and No /100 Dollars ($1.00), to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
do Grant, Bargain, Sell, Convey and Warrant to said party of the second
part An Easement in perpetuity for all utility and drainage purposes
including, but not being limited to, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water
pipes, including the right to enter for the purpose of constructing,
maintaining, altering,.repairing,.and reconstructing said utility and
drainage systems ir. and over the following described property situate
in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, to- wit:
That part of the South 125 feet of Lot 9, Auditor's Subdivision
No. 325 _lying within a 15 foot wide strip of land, the centerline
of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of said South 125 feet of
Lot 9, which point is 179.5 feet East of the west line of said
Lot 9; thence Southeasterly, at an angle of 111003' as turned.
from the West portion of said North line, a distance of 107.06
feet to a point to be known as point "A "; thence Southeasterly,
deflecting to the left at an angle of 660 57', a distance of
60.55 feet; thence Southeasterly to a point on the South line
of said Lot 9,.which point is 33.1 feet West of the Southeast
corner of said Lot 9 and there terminating. Also including a
15 foot wide strip of land with a" centerline,running from said
point "A" to a point on the South line of said Lot 90 -which
Point is 148-73 .f, ee-t West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 9.
Also temporary construction easements, 10 feet in width, lying
on all sides of and abutting the above described permanent
easement within said Lot 9. Said temporary easements shall
terminate on June 30, 1973.
This instrument is exempt from the State Deed Tax.
It is the intention and agreement of the Parties hereto that
the party of the second part shall in the construction, or maintenance
of said utility and drainage systems- replace any shrubs or sod removed
by any excavation in connection with such construction or maintenance
work, in as nearly as possible the same condition as before such excavation.
