ORDINANCE NO. 2020-11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10
OF THE EDINA CITY CODE CONCERNING HOURLY
RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN OPERATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDINA ORDAINS:
Section 1. Chapter 10 Section 23-124(b) of the City Code is amended to read as follows:
No person shall engage in or permit construction and repair activities involving the use of any
kind of electric, diesel or gas-powered motor vehicles or machine or other power equipment,
audible beyond the property line of the property where the activity is occurring, except:
For projects requiring a building permit with a building project value of $50,000 or less:
Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas), 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
For projects requiring a building permit with a building project value of more than $50,000:
Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving
and Christmas), no work
Section 2. This ordinance is effective following passage and publication.
