RESOLUTION NO. 2020-107
ACCEPTING DONATIONS ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF EDINA
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 allows cities to accept grants and donations of real or personal property
for the benefit of its citizens;
WHEREAS, said donations must be accepted via a resolution of the Council adopted by a two thirds majority
of its members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Edina City Council accepts with sincere appreciation the
following listed grants and donations on behalf of its citizens.
Fire Department
• Jerry’s Hardware $235.00 12 smoke detectors given to the
community
Parks & Recreation
• Greenwood Design Build $350.00 One conifer tree at Bredesen Park
• Andrew Warczak $1,400.00 Two trees at Utley Park
• Kelodale Garden Club $728.00 Foliar spraying buckthorn at
Bredesen Park 2020-22
• Kelodale Garden Club $2,251.00 Buckthorn removal at Lake Cornelia
• Marilyn Marshall $3,200.00 Donation Bench
