AND THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY ) CONCLUSIONS OF LAW,
OF BLOOMINGTON ) AND ORDER

On June 30, 1981 the Minnesota Municipal Board received resolutions from
the City of Edina which requested the detachment of certain property and the
City of Bloomington which requested the annexation of the same territory pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes 414.061.
After review of the resolutions, the Minnesota Municipal Board hereby makes
and files the following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order.
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. That a resolution supporting detachment of certain properties was received
from the City of Edina and a resolution supporting annexation of said property
was received from the City of Bloomington.
2. The resolutions contained all the information required by statute
including a description of the territory proposed for detachment which is as
follows:
The following described land in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota:
That part of Lot 3 lying East of the East line of Lot 2 and its Northerly exten-
sion and lying South of the South line of Lot 4 and its Westerly extension, all
in Block 1, Replat of Edina Interchange Center, according to the plat thereof on
file or of record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
Except, however, for such portions of the foregoing property as are within, or
subject to easements for, the right -of -way of State Highway No. 100, including
within this exception the frontage road along the West side of, and within, said
right -of -way.
3. The area proposed for detachment is situated within the City of Edina
and abuts the municipal boundary of the City of Bloomington.
CONCLUS:[ONS OF LAW
1. The Minnesota Municipal. Board duly acquired and now has jurisdiction
of the within proceeding.
2. An order should be issued by the Minnesota Municipal. Board concurrently
dr,taching and annexing the. area described herein.
