Dear Purchaser or Repurchaser of Tax - Forfeited Land:
As part of the Purchase/Repurchase Contract, you agreed to provide us with
proof of insurance on the above listed property. Failure to do so could result in the
cancellation of your contract. The insurance policy must contain a "loss payable clause"
listing the State of Minnesota, c/o Hennepin County Treasurer, as loss payee.. Please
provide this proof of insurance as soon as possible to the above mailing address.
Enclosed you will find a copy of the recorded Auditor's Certificate of Purchase
of Tax - Forfeited Land Contract, or County Auditor's Receipt and Contract for
Repurchase of Tax - Forfeited Land, whichever applied in this case, for the above noted
property. Our office has provided the service of recording this document. It is currently
in a Contract for Deed status. When the final payment is made on this Contract we will
proceed to order and record a State Deed, transferring the ownership from the State of
Minnesota to the purchaser or repurchaser.
Enclosed you will find a recorded State Deed transferring the ownership of the
above noted property from the State of Minnesota to the purchaser or repurchaser of this
property. Our office has provided the service of recording this document on your behalf.

THIS DEED, Made this 16th day of September, 2005, by and between the State of Minnesota, acting by and through the
Commissioner of Revenue (Grantor), and City of Edina, a governmental subdivision (Grantee), WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described was duly forfeited to the State of Minnesota to be held in trust in favor of the taxing
districts for the nonpayment of taxes, and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 282.0 1, Subdivision la, the grantee has applied to the Commissioner of
Revenue for the conveyance of lands hereinafter described to be used by it exclusively for drainage and utility purposes, and,
WHEREAS, unless not required under Minnesota Statutes Section 282.01, Subdivision lb(b), the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, has recommended to the Commissioner of Revenue by resolution adopted
on the 29th day of August, 2005, that such conveyance be made, 4
NOW, THEREFORE, the State of Minnesota, pursuant to said laws and in consideration of the premises, does hereby grant or
convey without warranty unto the grantee, all the tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota,
described as follows, to -wit:

excepting and reserving to the said state, in trust for taxing districts concerned, ali minerals and mineral rights, as provided by law.
Further, the lands conveyed by this deed are not eligible for enrollment in a State of Minnesota funded program providing
compensation for conservation of marginal land or wetlands.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
anywise appertaining, to the grantee so long as it shall continue to use said land for the purpose aforesaid, and upon condition that if such
