Call to Order Chair Schilling called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. II. Roll Call Answering roll call were members Lonnquist, Cundy, Knudsen, Everson and Chair Schilling. Emily Bodeker, staff liaison, and preservation consultant, Robert Vogel were also in attendance. Chair Schilling and the Heritage Preservation Commission welcomed new commissioner, Garrett Knudsen. Commissioner Widmoyer joined the meeting at 7:05 pm. III. Approval of Meeting Agenda Motion made by Cundy seconded by Pollock to approve the meeting agenda as presented. All voted aye. The motion carried. IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes Motion made by Cundy, seconded by Lonnquist to approve the April 13, 2021 meeting minutes as presented. All voted aye. The motion carried. V. Special Recognitions and Presentations A. Commission Annual Member Review-MJ Lamon Commissioner Hassenstab joined the meeting at 7:12 pm. Public Engagement Coordinator, MJ Lamon, updated the Commission on annual commission member information and answered questions. Draft Minutes☐ Approved Minutes☒ Approved Date: June 8, 2021 VI. Reports and Recommendations A. Morningside Community Church-Landmark Designation Motion made by Knudsen seconded by Lonnquist to request Preservation Consultant Vogel start the nomination study for Morningside Community Church. All voted aye. The motion carried. VII. Chair and Member Comments Commissioners provided updates on their 2021 work plan items. • Commissioner Schilling met with the curator at the Edina Historical Society. • Commission Lonnquist updated the Commission on the eligible property outreach. • Chair Schilling and Liaison Bodeker will present the 2021 Heritage Award at the May 18, 2021 City Council meeting. • Commissioner Pollock asked for an update on the Wooddale Bridge. • Commissioner Cundy asked for an update on 4630 Drexel. • Commission Hassenstab asked about the status of 4600 Browndale and 4634 Edgebrook Pl.
