Late: C ommissioner Dakane arrived at 7:15pm Absent: C hair Martinez, C ommissioners Hovanec , Lanzas, Lukens , S chima and S tudent C ommis s ioner R awat F our voting C ommis s ioners were pres ent, thus no quorum was ac hieved. V.S pec ial R ec ognitions And P res entations A.S pecial P res entation: 2023 C ommis s ion Work P lan Kic koff C ommissioners rec eived a presentation from C ommunity Engagement Manager Lamon about the 2023 work plan proc es s . VI.C ommunity C omment During "Community Comment," the Board/Commission will inv ite residents to share relevant issues or concerns. Indiv iduals must limit their comments to three minutes. The Chair may limit the number of speakers on the same issue in the interest of time and topic. Generally speaking, items that are elsewhere on tonight's agenda may not be addressed during Community Comment. Indiv iduals should not expect the Chair or Board/Commission Members to respond to their comments tonight. Instead, the Board/Commission might ref er the matter to staf f f or consideration at a f uture meeting. VI I.R eports /R ec ommendations A.2022 W P #1: S upport Natural Habitat C ommissioner Haugen updated the C ommission on work related to Initiative #1, which is ongoing. B.2022 W P #4: EEC tabling at events S taff Liaison Hancoc k affirmed the EEC 's participation in July 4th parade, invited c ommis s ioners to s ign up to volunteer at the F armers Market. C .2023 Workplan Development Kic koff C ommissioners disc ussed the 2023 work plan proc es s , but did not disc uss spec ifics given lack of quorum. D.Monthly call for c ommunication requests S taff Liaison Hancoc k called for any communic ation reques ts from the EEC pertaining to their work plan initiatives. None were rec eived. VI I I.C hair And Member C omments I X.S taff C omments A.C ommis s ion Meetings R eturn to C ity Hall July 2022 EEC meetings will return to C ity Hall C ommunity R oom beginning with their July 14 meeting. X.Adjournment Meeting ended at 8:30pm. T he C ity of Edina wants all residents to be comfortable being part of the public process.
