Edina Responds to Three-Alarm Apartment Fire
Edina, Minn., Nov. 16, 2022 – The Edina Fire Department is working with partner agencies to extinguish a
three-alarm fire that will displace all residents of a local apartment building.
Edina Fire was called to 6328 Barrie Road at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, after receiving multiple reports of a
fire on the second floor of the apartment building. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fire on the second
and third floors of the building.
Residents were evacuated and are in the process of being relocated. Fire departments from Bloomington,
Eden Prairie, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Richfield and St. Louis Park and Hennepin Healthcare are assisting on
scene.
The cause of the fire will be investigated after the fire has been extinguished.
