Thursday, September 8, 2022 7:00 PM I.Call To Order Chair Martinez called the meeting to order at 7:02pm. II.Roll Call Answering roll call were Chair Martinez, Vice Chair Horan, Commissioners Haugen, Hovanec, Lanzas, Lukens, Tessman and Schima, Student Commissioner Machart. Absent: Commissioner Dakane and Student Commissioner Rawat. III.Approval Of Meeting Agenda Motion by John Haugen to Approve Meeting Agenda. Seconded by Michelle Horan. Motion Carried. IV.Approval Of Meeting Minutes A.Minutes: Energy and Environment Commission August 8, 2022 Motion by Michelle Horan to Approve Meeting Minutes. Seconded by Tom Tessman. Motion Carried. V.Community Comment No community comment was received During "Community Comment," the Board/Commission will invite residents to share relevant issues or concerns. Individuals must limit their comments to three minutes. The Chair may limit the number of speakers on the same issue in the interest of time and topic. Generally speaking, items that are elsewhere on tonight's agenda may not be addressed during Community Comment. Individuals should not expect the Chair or Board/Commission Members to respond to their comments tonight. Instead, the Board/Commission might refer the matter to staff for consideration at a future meeting. VI.Reports/Recommendations A.Monthly call for communication requests No communications requests were received. B.2023 Workplan Development Discussion EEC agreed on a final 2023 Workplan proposal to send to Council. Motion by Bayardo Lanzas to Motion. Seconded by Teri Hovanec. Motion Carried. VII.Chair And Member Comments Chair Martinez welcomed new Student Commissioner, Ella Machart. Chair Martinez invited all Members to make comments around the room. VIII.Staff Comments Liaison Hancock notified Commissioners that Transportation Planner Scipioni would share updated with the Parks Commission on November 1 related to transportation plans. The EEC is invited to attend. IX.Adjournment The EEC meeting was adjourned at 9:05pm. Motion by John Haugen to Adjourn. Seconded by Bayardo Lanzas. Motion Carried.
