A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE
BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF EDINA FOR YEAR 2023,
AND ESTABLISHING THE PROPOSED
TAX LEVY PAYABLE IN 2023
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Budgets for all Governmental Funds as shown on Attachment A for the City of Edina for the calendar year 2023
is hereby adopted and funds are hereby appropriated;
Section 2. The Budgets for all Enterprise Funds as shown on Attachment B for the City of Edina for the calendar year 2023 is
hereby adopted and funds are hereby appropriated;
Section 3. That there will be levied upon all taxable real and personal property in the City of Edina, a tax rate sufficient to produce
the amount as follows:
FOR GENERAL FUND $39,820,200
FOR CONSTRUCTION FUND $6,560,400
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS – SERIES 2016A (Fire) $403,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS – SERIES 2017C (PW) $1,029,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF CIP PLAN BONDS – SERIES 2013A (PW) $240,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF HRA PUBLIC PROJECT BONDS – SERIES 2014 (Dome) $1,166,000
LEVY FOR PAYMENT OF HRA PUBLIC PROJECT BONDS – SERIES 2015A (Gym) $392,000
TOTAL TAX CAPACITY LEVY $49,610,600
Section 4. That the preliminary 2023 budget for the City of Edina is as follows:
TOTAL REVENUES – GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS $82,485,325
TOTAL EXPENDITURES – GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS $82,464,516
TOTAL REVENUES – ENTERPRISE FUNDS $58,007,909
TOTAL EXPENDITURES – ENTERPRISE FUNDS $54,791,305
TOTAL REVENUES – INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS $ 6,991,192
TOTAL EXPENDITURES – INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS $ 6,919,975
Section 5. That the final 2023 budget and tax levy incorporates revisions to the scheduled levy for the Series 2019A General
Obligation Bonds (Fire Equipment) due to sufficient funds available to pay the required debt service
