Share Your Ideas on the New Fire Station 2 at ‘Cocoa and Concepts’
Edina, Minn., March 1, 2023 – Join the City of Edina to share your feedback and ideas on the design of the new Fire Station 2 at “Cocoa and Concepts” 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at
Centennial Lakes Park, 7499 France Ave. S..
This casual workshop will include free hot cocoa and a firetruck and activities for younger residents to engage with while parents and other residents have the opportunity to submit
feedback on the Fire Station 2 concepts.
“Bring your kids down for some free hot cocoa and fun,” said Facilities Project Manager Rachel Finberg, who is leading the new Fire Station 2 project. “This project involves the whole
community, so we want everyone to feel welcome to share their opinions and make their voices heard.”
The City wants all residents to be comfortable being part of the public process. If you need assistance in the way of hearing amplification, an interpreter, large-print documents or
something else, please call 952-826-0359 at least 72 hours in advance of the event.
The new Fire Station 2 facility will be located at 4401 W. 76th St. After the feedback is gathered online and at the workshop, staff and project consultants will use it in the next design
phase.
