Walk With the Mayor to be Held March 18
Edina, Minn., March. 2, 2023 - Walk With the Mayor continues this month to give community members the opportunity to share opinions and thoughts with Mayor Jim Hovland while walking
through various locations in Edina.
This month’s Walk With the Mayor is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 18. Put on some comfortable walking shoes and meet at Southdale Center.
Hovland invites residents to take part in this opportunity. “With Spring just around the corner, and longer and warmer days ahead, please consider joining me for what I hope will be
our last indoor Walk With the Mayor until next Winter,” he says. “Let’s meet in the main courtyard area at Southdale across from the Apple Store. Maybe we can find some coffee, too!”
Participating in the Walk With the Mayor gives community members a chance to voice concerns, talk with Hovland and get to know the city a little bit better while taking a walk through
parts of Edina. No prior registration is required to attend Walk With the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland.
