INTRODUCTION:
As part of the 2023 Planning Commission's work plan, the commission was asked to review and recommend
possible changes to the development process including sketch plans, public feedback, and public hearings. This
work plan item was continued over from 2022. The Planning Commission discussed the proposed
recommendations at their March 29 regularly scheduled meeting and is available for viewing from the City's
website.
Staff will provide a brief overview of legal requirements and past Council discussions regarding this topic. The
Planning Commission will present their recommendation to City Council for discussion only.
