Walk With the Mayor to be Held April 15
Edina, Minn., April 12, 2023 -- Walk With the Mayor will take place this weekend to allow community members to share concerns, opinions and thoughts about City topics with Mayor Jim
Hovland while getting a little bit of exercise.
This month’s Walk With the Mayor will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Galleria. Residents can meet by the Starbucks inside to begin the walk.
Hovland invites residents to participate in this opportunity. “Fellow residents, I wanted so much to head outdoors for Walk With the Mayor in April, but I see the forecast is predicting
an all-day rain on Saturday, the 15th of April. So, I think we should stay indoors for one more month. Hope to see you there this coming Saturday,” he says.
Attending the Walk With the Mayor is a great way to make your voice heard, spark conversation, and get to know the city a little bit better while exploring different areas of Edina.
No prior registration is required to attend Walk With the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland.
