those likely to be in need of financial assistance, during or after extreme
weather events (e.g., heat, cold, and heavy precipitation). EEC will review
and comment on approved report.

Ageism: helping community understand, how to mitigate it, educate and assess
With a focus on equity, study and report on location and features of, and access to, City facilities (i.e., parks and recreational facilities, community gardens,
meeting rooms, and transportation facilities including sidewalks and bicycle facilities)
Research and report potential models for Edina residents to review, comment on, and make recommendations for changes to the policies and procedures of local
law enforcement.

INTRODUCTION:
On April 4, Council discussed the Development Review Process with the Planning Commission. This is a
continuation of that discussion around the Planning Commission's Development Review Process Goals to:
Simplify the development review process
Shorten the process
One public hearing
One City Council Meeting
Optimize the development review process
Engage stakeholders proactively, more equitably and longer
Expand better together comment period/features
Implement new development review process
Recommendation:
One Public Hearing, held at Planning Commission
One City Council Meeting follows the public hearing
Better Together Edina enabled with real time comments and keep open after public hearing until the city
council meeting
Reassess after 2 years, use public feedback loop
