that are elsewhere on tonight's agenda may not be addressed during Community Comment.
Individuals should not expect the Chair or Board/Commission Members to respond to their
comments tonight. Instead, the Board/Commission might refer the matter to sta% for
consideration at a future meeting.

Motion by Tracy Nelson to approve meeting agenda. Seconded by Michael
Wood. Motion Carried.

Motion by Nick Mattison to approve August 8, 2022 meeting minutes.
Seconded by Tracy Nelson. Motion Carried.

A.2023 CHC Work Plan Approval - Final Draft
Edits to workplan:
CHC to take lead on study and report item regarding declaring racism as a public
health emergency in the City.
Move mult-unit housing smoking item to parking lot, as conditions have changed
and may need to restart discussions on how to approach this concept.
Motion by Matt Giljahn to approve draft 2023 Community Health
Commission Work Plan with edits as discussed. Seconded by Julia Selleys.
Motion Carried.

This presentation and survey will baseline community awareness about electrification and inform next steps in this
campaign. The survey is an attempt to get information from those interested in sustainability, health, and new
technology and use of electricity instead of other fuels.
