Walk With the Mayor to be Held Feb. 17
Edina, Minn., Feb. 8, 2023 – Council Member Carolyn Jackson will lead this month’s Walk with the Mayor 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Galleria, 69th Street and France Avenue. Jackson
is filling in for Mayor Jim Hovland, who is attending an event for the U.S. Conference of Mayors. The walk will begin by Starbucks and Cov on the east side of the mall.
Community members are welcome to walk alongside Jackson and engage in conversations about all things Edina. “The new snow is beautiful but slippery,” Jackson said. “Come join me indoors
for a walk and talk at the Galleria!”
No prior registration is required to attend the Walk with the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Jackson. Participants should wear comfortable
walking shoes and meet just inside the doors to the Galleria.
