that is being sent to those who attended and those who
usually attend but weren't there. Ms. Andersen asked for
suggestions or changes to the survey.
Ms. Hedges stated that the ticket sales were down from last
year. A possible explanation for the lower number is that
people may have too many benefits this time of year.
B. Budget: The profit from the benefit was expected to be
around $3,385. The actual profit is $ST.444:
7-0b
C. Donors: Contributions from donors were 5. Thank you
notes have been sent.
D. Auction: The auction was projected to bring in $1000.
The actual amount was $1465. Jim Hale did an excellent job
as emcee.
E. Comments: Ms. Clark stated that the Celebrate the Arts
event has worn itself out. Suggest dropping it next year
and expand the Fireside Suppers.
IV. SPRING AUCTION
Mr. Spokes asked what are the dates of the Spring Auction.
Ms. Hedges stated, May 4 - 15. Mr. Spokes suggested that
auction numbers be sold right now. Ms. Hedges stated that
is a good idea.
Ms. Hedges stated that the silent bidder does not need to be
present at the live auction May 15 and may receive item if
no one bids higher than the last written bid.
There still is a need for committee people, publicity and
marketing, runners, thank you and poster makers.
