Edina Fire Responds to Creston Road House Fire
Edina, Minn., March 25, 2024 – The Edina Fire Department responded to a three-alarm house fire in the 6800 block of Creston Road around 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 25.
The one resident of the home was not there when the fire started. The fire alarm monitoring company notified 911 of the fire so the Edina Fire Department was able to arrive to the scene
quickly. Once they arrived, they noticed smoke filled throughout the home, and discovered fire between the first-level ceiling and second-level floor of the home.
No injuries were reported and the resident will be displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Edina Fire’s Fire Prevention Bureau.
The Edina Fire Department was assisted by mutual aid partners, including Richfield Fire Department, Bloomington Fire Department and St. Louis Park Fire Department. Incident support was
received from Edina Police, Hennepin EMS and Golden Valley Fire Department, which supplied the Life Safety Unit for rehabbing firefighters.
