June 11 Workshop Features Tours of Lincoln and Londonderry Area
Edina, Minn., May 22, 2024 – Community members are invited to a June 11 visioning workshop for the Lincoln and Londonderry area.
Participants will be able to contribute their ideas and visions for this area near Lincoln Drive and Londonderry Road, just east of U.S. Highway 169.
The workshop runs 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Walnut Ridge Park, 5801 Londonderry Road. Kids’ activities will be provided during the workshop.
Two optional tours of the area will be offered during the event:
Bike tour: Leaves at 5:45 p.m. Bring your own bike, helmet and water.
Walking tour: Leaves at 6 p.m.
Please RSVP at bit.ly/lincolnjune11 so staff can plan for enough materials and support.
The workshop is part of a process to develop a small area plan for the Lincoln and Londonderry area. This plan will serve as a guiding framework for future development and infrastructure
decisions in the area.
The process to develop the plan began in February 2024 and includes engaging residents, businesses and local organizations to develop a comprehensive vision. The small area plan process
is expected to wrap up in early 2025.
