Players from the National Hockey League, University of Minnesota and some Edina homegrown stars have played in the 4-on-4 league in the past. This fast-action format features two 23-minute halves. Plus there’s “Za Hot Puck,” a two-minute window where goals count as double. The West Arena at Braemar Arena, 7501 Ikola Way, fills up with fans eager to get an up-close look at their favorite skaters. Three games are held each night of the regular season, at 5, 6:15 and 7:30 p.m. The league started July 10 and runs until Aug. 28. The semifinals will be held 6 and 7:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26. The final evening of competition, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, features a women’s hockey showcase and the championship game for the John Scott Cup. Tickets are $15 per night, which includes all games that night. A season pass, which includes the semifinals and championship, is $100. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at dabeautyleague.com. Children 4 feet tall and under may attend for free. Games will be live streamed via Youth Hockey Hub.  2024 rosters are to be announced. Players may be absent from some games due to their other summer commitments and family activities.
