Edina Public Health and Hennepin County to Host ‘Fix It’ Clinic
Edina, Minn., July 11, 2024 – Hennepin County and Edina Public Health are partnering to host a free Fix-It Clinic noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Southdale Library, 7001 York Ave.
S. The clinic is first come, first served. No pre-registration is required.
Bring your broken household items to the Fix-It Clinic and work together with friendly, skilled volunteers to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix your stuff. Volunteers will help with small
appliances, clothing that is clean, electronics, mobile devices and more. Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce
the number of repairable things that are thrown in the trash.
Edina Public Health will have staff at the clinic to share information about organics recycling and reuse.
Public Health is bringing free treats and coffee (while supplies last), but make sure to bring your own reusable coffee cup. No single-use coffee cups will be provided.
