Edina Park and Recreation offers School
Release Day & Family field trips
Edina, Minn., Oct. 6, 2004 – Students can travel around the metro area on exciting field trips during
School Release Days.
The Edina Park and Recreation Department invites children ages 6-12 to a variety of field trips on their
days off from school. Trips are planned to Camp Snoopy, bowling, Cinema Grill and roller-skating. All
field trips depart from and return to Arneson Acres Park, 4711 W. 70th St., Edina.
The first field trip, scheduled Nov. 22, will be to Camp Snoopy, and the deadline to sign up is Nov. 12.
The bowling, Cinema Grill and roller-skating trips have been scheduled for later dates, and parents can
sign up their children for those as well.
The Edina Park and Recreation Department is also offering Family Field Trips for parents and children.
The first Family Field Trip will be to the Shrine Circus Oct. 22, and the deadline to sign up is Oct. 15.
