Information/Background: Within ten days following the General Election, the City Council must meet and canvass or approve the results of the Municipal Election. Attached is the Abstract of Votes Cast from the Official Returns of the election. Please note that as in past years, write-ins will not be tallied because none meets the threshold of receiving more votes than the lowest candidate. Resolution No. 2024-35 was adopted May 7, 2024, to count write in votes only if they are more than the lowest candidate votes.
