Toys for Tots Collections at Edina Police and Fire Stations
Edina, Minn., Nov. 21, 2024 – The Edina Police and Fire departments are collecting donations for the Toys for Tots holiday gift program. Donations will be accepted at the Police Department,
4801 W. 50th St., and Fire Station 1, 6250 Tracy Ave., through 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17.
New, unwrapped toys, along with gifts for older kids and teens, will be accepted in the Police and Fire department lobbies for the next several weeks. The Police drop-off is open 24
hours a day daily, while the Fire drop-off is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
“The Edina Police and Fire departments are happy to once again partner with Toys for Tots in 2024,” said Community Engagement Officer Nick Donahue. “This program is a wonderful way for
our residents to support those less fortunate children in our community to ensure everyone has a fun and memorable Christmas. I am constantly impressed with the generosity of our Edina
residents and have no doubt the outpouring of support will make 2024 the biggest toy drop-off to date!”
Last year in Hennepin County, Toys for Tots distributed 180,451 toys and supported 132,275 children.
